SUMMARY: Operate in a clean safe environment to package finished products each production day set forth by supervisor. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Achieve daily production targets • Ensures safety and GMPs are followed • Ensures finished product meets quality and conformance specifications • Continually check materials visually for defects, and to ensure conformance to specifications and ensuring food safety standards. • Identify and mark materials, products, and samples with the proper chain of custody. • Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions. • Weigh or measure materials to ensure conformance to specifications. • Upon receipt of the finished products, clean and visually inspect packaging when preparing for shipment. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following the company GMPs. • In the case of receiving a finished product with damaged packaging, communicate with appropriate management to initiate the correction process. • Keep up with the proper sections on the batch tracking forms to ensure proper quantity in case sizes. • Accurately record production and operational data on paperwork, as needed. • Responsible for reporting food safety problems to their supervisor/lead or someone with authority to initiate action. • Identify any risk of intentional harm to the facility, personnel or products and report them to their supervisor. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • It is the responsibility of the position to follow the agreed up GMPs of the facility to ensure company is producing safe, quality food, complying with the requirements of the SQF Code, complying with applicable food legislation. • 1 year exp • Must be flexible in other duties as assigned by supervisor.
