SUMMARY: Operate in a clean safe environment to package finished products each production day set forth by supervisor. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for operating a high-speed Food Packaging Equipment • Trouble shoot production issues related to bagger machines, augers, fillers, belt / bucket / screw conveyor, weighers, and other equipment related to high speed food production • Achieve daily production targets • Ensures safety and GMPs are followed • Minimize production waste by ensuring equipment is optimally performing • Ensures finished product meets quality and conformance specifications • Continually check materials visually for defects, and to ensure conformance to specifications and ensuring food safety standards. • Push control buttons and move controls to set-up, start, and stop packaging and weighing equipment. • Continually check materials visually for defects, and to ensure conformance to specifications and ensuring food safety standards. • Remove portioned products from machines, and place them into sealers, ensuring bags are properly sealed. • Identify and mark materials, products, and samples with the proper chain of custody. • Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions. • Weigh or measure materials to ensure conformance to specifications. • Accurately record production and operational data on paperwork, as needed. • Add raw material ingredients to machines or equipment as required by the manufacturing process. • Responsible for reporting food safety problems to their supervisor/lead or someone with authority to initiate action. • Identify any risk of intentional harm to the facility, personnel or products and report them to their supervisor. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • It is the responsibility of the position to follow the agreed up GMPs of the facility to ensure company is producing safe, quality food, complying with the requirements of the SQF Code, complying with applicable food legislation. • 1 year exp • Must be flexible in other duties as assigned by supervisor.
