Canyon Creek Country Club is looking for a qualified irrigation technician for the golf course and clubhouse grounds. Applicant must have at least 1 year of large-scale irrigation experience, and must be able to perform the following tasks without assistance:
Irrigation repair
- fix leaks (main line, hydraulic pipe, control box components)
- replace irrigation heads, gate valves, control box components, etc.
- fix heads clubhouse grounds (adjust, replace, etc.)
- adjust part-circle irrigation heads throughout course
Watering
- turning on irrigation via control box or satellite radio
- hand watering hot spots on greens, etc.
- adjusting programming on clubhouse grounds as needed
Satellite Control Box Troubleshooting
- fixing/replacing selector valves
- checking/replacing station cards and motherboards
Pump House maintenance
- checking pumps daily and report water usage
- maintaining pumps (main pump and hydraulic) periodically
Applicants having experience with hydraulic irrigation systems will be strongly considered. The hired employee may be required to perform tasks outside of the aforementioned duties (mowing, etc.).
