DEAN SELLERS FORD in Troy is looking for a high-energy, customer focused Automotive Parts Counter Person.
This job has room for advancement for a motivated, hard-working and proven individual.
Some responsibilities include:
1) Assist customers (retail, technicians, sales consultants, and body shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
2) Answer telephone in accordance with dealership standards, providing price quotes as needed.
3) Pull and fill orders from stock
4) Notify Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials.
5) Locate out of stock parts from outside source and submit emergency orders.
6) Notify all necessary parties when special ordered parts are received.
7) Pull order for delivery to body shop.
8) Follow up on back-ordered parts.
9) Verify all parts are billed in accordance with inventory standards.
10) Some Parts Truck Delivery may be required.
Requirements:
1) Automotive parts experience needed. Ford parts experience preferred.
2) Excellent communication and customer service skills.
3) Professional appearance.
4) Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
5) Strong computer and phone skills.
6) Strong attention to detail
7) Willingness to learn and possess a positive attitude.
8) Dependability and promptness are a must.
9) A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED. A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREENING WILL BE MADE.
