Job Description – Entry Level Service Technician Job Description Automotive Lift Service/ Advantage Lifts (based in Hanover PA) is growing and has an opportunity for driven people to join us. The Entry Level Service Technician will provide installation, service, repair, and general maintenance on a variety of automotive lifts and shop equipment in the field. Automotive Lift Service offers a 4-Day work week, Monday-Thursday, allowing for more family time over the weekend. Those with experience in mechanics, hydraulics, HVAC, electrical work, and commercial construction are encouraged to apply. Experience working on automotive lifts and/or using lifts is a plus. Job Details A typical day starts at the shop followed by daily travel (paid) to our customer's location. Overnight travel of 2-3 times per month is required. Overnight accommodations and a daily per diem are provided. Service technicians currently operate on a four-day work week, Monday thru Thursday, working 10-12 hours/day or until the job is completed. Overtime on a weekly basis is common and to be expected. We offer 6 paid National Holidays annually with accrued Paid Time Off (PTO). Health, dental and vision insurance are available after 90-day probationary period. A matching 401K is available after the first year of employment. Year’s of Experience: 1-5 years. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour starting wage. Mandatory Requirements: You must have a valid driver’s licenses and a clean driving record to operate company vehicles. A medical DOT card will also be required within the first 90 days of employment. Ability to drive rollback type trucks, manual and automatic, will be required. Employee is responsible for providing own tools following 90 day probationary period. We are a drug free company and operate under DOT regulations for vehicle operations.
