Thanks to all those that responded and thanks in advance to those that will share and stay in touch Well well well, I fell off for the 1000th time I'm sure, lost count long ago, but Today is DAY 4, and hope I never touch it again Yesterday was kind of down day, as I usually expect far more from myself but I made peace, pulled through 4/15 Started intermittent fasting with Ketogenic diet, walked 3 miles to heal my body and mind and lose some of weight Person told me yesterday, I need to be DONE WITH IT, instead of quitting, so I've put that on a poster to read again and again. I'm DONE Why am I here on CL? I'm trying Cold turkey, been to AA, taken medicines - still work in progress perhaps because its all in my head I know it mainly about me making and keeping promises to myself, but I feel in this matter, I'm still weak and need help with KEEPING May be you know something I don't, and I would love for you to be part of experiment, where you can change a LIFE, Imagine that I agree, most of the time unsolicited advice doesn't work, but believe me, I'm asking, more like begging for help, so its solicited The thing is, I see others the way I see myself. I know a thing or two, and I'll happily help you with what you don't know, this time I need help Because, Liquor is something that has controlled my life, when usually I'm the one in control, I don't know how, why, but I want out What can you do? Since I mostly live in my head, you can talk to me, if you know anything about psychology, may be help me work out whatever the root cause Perhaps, its time I spend time doing something I like ( I don't know what) get a hobby, so if you have a skill, may be I can come learn I can definitely use friends, participate in some activities, I love to walk, I love to teach, chit chat, just feel part of something I can use some help with creating a website, and use it as a forum, where I can journal and folks can comment and give their input I'm male, 50, successfully self employed in real estate, don't watch TV, lack hobbies, mostly need help from 6-10pm when I mess up Strange but many of the responses I get are from sexual perverts, or Jesus people, NOT INTERESTED BTW, I'm well versed in fields of FINANCE and REAL ESTATE, so if I can help you learn and grow, I'm open book, just ask
