Maintenance Helper/Laborer Riverview Homes Association in West Mifflin is looking to hire a Maintenance Helper/ Laborer to supplement the current Maintenance Staff. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor. To succeed in this position you should be reliable, physically fit, and a hard worker. This position is an excellent opportunity to receive on-the-job training and learn skills from more experienced workers. Responsibilities and Duties: • Complete daily work assignments following instructions from Maintenance Supervisor • Maintain work areas in a clean and organized condition. • Perform specialized tasks that may require on-the-job training and processes. • Loading, unloading, moving and delivering materials and tools to units as needed. • Clean up of grounds, distributions to units, seasonal outdoor work • Housekeeping activities and tasks • Effective communication with Maintenance Supervisor and co-workers. Job Requirements • Physically able to stand, bend, squat and lift up to 50 pounds • Valid driver’s license • Complete drug test, criminal background check, and Motor Vehicle Report • Flexible with the ability to function in outdoor weather conditions. • Energetic with a sustained level of stamina • Positive attitude and work ethic • Punctual and reliable A generous benefit package available (after a probationary period) that includes: Medical/Dental/Vision, Paid Holidays, STD, LTD, Group Life & Pension.
