Bermex, Inc. a contract services company, has an immediate opening for a meter readers in the Cobb County, GA area. The job involves reading and recording utility meters on established routes in all weather conditions. Our workforce is essential to keeping the power on for millions of Americans who are either working to fight COVID-19 or who are staying home to stay safe. Our business naturally lends itself to physical distancing; most of our employees work independently and are provided their own company vehicle, allowing them to avoid close contact with others. Characteristics of Work: Requires extensive walking (10 to 12 miles per day) Environmental Conditions: The worker is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions, rain, snow, extreme heat and/or cold, noise, darkness and poor lighting conditions. Examples of Required Activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, hearing and repetitive motion. You must possess a valid driver's license that is clear of driving infractions. A background investigation and drug testing will be conducted We offer: Full time work with occasional weekends.
