Description
We are an RV partnership that has spent the last couple of years traveling the Western US. We winter in Southern Arizona or California, and then travel to the far North for the summer. This year Jerome, Quartzsite, Grass Valley, and several sites in Southern Oregon are on the schedule.
She enjoys forests, trees, and bird watching. I prefer hiking and gold prospecting in remote Bureau of Land Management sites. We spend the majority of our time camping in National Parks and forests.
We have a 34' Motorhome that has been modified with a patent-pending process that powers A/C units while remote camping.
I am 56, and she is a bit older. We have been friends for a few decades and invested in this motorhome. Our combined retirement incomes allow us to finance this traveling lifestyle.
You should be a relatively fit FEMALE aged 50-70 that is equally happy grubbing around in the dirt, or swimming in an algae-encrusted natural hot spring. Education is also a plus, because the fireside chats can get a bit heady...
Being able to contribute financially to monthly expenses would be great, but it isn't a deal-breaker. Willingness to help with chores is much more valuable, especially on moving day (about every 2 weeks on public land). This year the goal is a new place ever 2 weeks until winter.
This is also an opportunity to 'Dip Your Toes' into the RV Traveling Lifestyle, without actually investing a ton of money into an RV.
