Florida Design Drilling Corp. (FDD) is a licensed water well and general contractor and leading provider of water well drilling and water resource construction services located in West Palm Beach, Florida. We specialize in solutions for industrial, irrigation, and commercial clients. FDD is looking for a reliable, motivated Maintenance Assistant with a drive and willingness to work hard and learn. Primary Responsibilities • Property line maintenance including but not limited to weed/brush/trash removal. • Unload large deliveries via forklift. • Assisting the fabricators in painting equipment. • Emptying all trash cans around the yard daily. • Daily cleaning of outdoor facilities. • General upkeep and care of welding shops. • Various projects that include wiring, plumbing, construction. Job Requirements • No minimum education requirement. • Must be able to lift 75 pounds from the ground. • Must have relevant experience of fieldwork. • Ability to drive a forklift. • Ability to be adaptable to work independently, and step in to work multiple roles if required. • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. • Willing and physically able to work outdoors for long hours. • Ability to communicate proficiently in English. • Flexibility to work beyond an 8-hour workday. • Employment contingent on successful results of a negative drug screen.
