A cut from That Thing You Do. People wander over for a listen. Then a few more. Heads are bobbing. Feet are tapping. Even more people show up. Little kids are dancing. That old couple too. Everyone is smiling. Especially the band. No one is leaving. You could do this all day. — The Junkmen are looking for a well-rounded drummer to play an eclectic mix of music that’s as much fun to play as it is to listen to. Upbeat. Engaging. Timeless, not time-worn. It’s all about the joy and craft of good grooves and playing in-the-pocket, well-crafted music that makes people grin and puts a shuffle in everyone’s feet.
