ISO small breed puppy for mothers day

I am looking for a small breed puppy for my parents. They are in their 40s/50s and soon to be empty nesters and have been wanting a puppy since the last of the kids are leaving home. Interested in breeds such as: pomeranians, yorkie, terriers, chihuahuas, min pins, dachshund etc. Not opposed to medium sizes such as a beagle, boston terrier, or shiba inu but prefers small. Mixed breeds encouraged as I am trying to keep a certain budget on rehoming fee depending on the breed and age. Here are the photos she sent me.
