Fields is a beautiful, athletic GSD with lots of energy, and lots of love to give. He was rescued from a shelter 3 years ago, and we estimate that he is ~5yrs old. Given that he has lots of energy, Fields needs a job. Whether it's training, exercise, or other dog 'work' he will enjoy every second of it. Fields is house trained, and trained on a prong collar. He will sit, heel, lay down, and stay(although he could use a little work on stay). If fields is the center of attention he will thrive. However, Fields does not seem to get along well with other dogs, and based on his size and how he behaves around small dogs, we would not feel comfortable sending him to a home with children. He will nip, and occasionally try to bite other dogs. Fields also has heartworms - but he is currently finishing his treatment next month, and will be Heartworm Free. If he is adopted prior to finishing his treatment, we will pay for the final visit. Fields needs constant attention, no other dog companions, and an experienced GSD or large dog owner. We are asking for a minimal adoption fee, serious inquiries only.
