Looking to rent a pond for my geese for a year. No fencing will be put up, and no shelters. They eat grass and are safest on water, so they will be “abandoned” for all practical purposes. I wont bother you and will just check on the pond periodically Geese will never kill turf, as they dont rip roots like horses or goats, they dont scratch like chickens or ducks, and since all they eat is grass their poops are just tiny grass sausages that are fantastic for turf, and not muddy nasty mess like most all other birds on the planet. All the “goose damage” to hotel and golf club grass is entirely cosmetic, imagine if we had a “canada goat” problem instead! Lol You need not respond if your house is right next to your pond. I love my geese but you dont want to live right up next to them.
