The Maintenance tech is responsible for: maintaining the entire hotel facility; including physical building structure; all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment. This individual ensures the upkeep of guest areas and maintains an attractive hotel. They manage all rehabilitation, expansion and special projects. Skills and Responsibilities: An understanding of building related equipment: HVAC, Boiler, Kitchen, Laundry, etc Follows company preventative maintenance procedures and guidelines for guestrooms, equipment, public space, grounds, landscaping, and building envelop, etc. Maintains all Engineering Spaces in a safe, clean, organized, energy efficient manner. Tours hotel complex daily identifying items requiring engineering, housekeeping or other departmental actions. Considered the property expert on all Life Safety related items Ability to remain calm in stressful situations, seen as a strong leader through-out hotel. Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate. Excellent listening skills. Exceptional detail in follow-up. Resolve problems. Assume responsibility/accountability. Create courteous, friendly, professional work environment. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour or DOE
