Household Packers and Movers are responsible for assessing, inventory, packing, moving and properly storing all customer household goods from customers location to TCS warehouse during the cleaning and restoration of contents damaged by water, fire, smoke, and mold. Contents Packer provides exceptional customer service, and support their team as needed in the cleaning, loading and unloading trucks. Must have attention to detail and knowledge of proper packaging, loading, and unloading processes. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the inventory of contents prior to packing Responsible for packing of boxed contents Responsible to inspect contents for any damage, including pre-existing Responsible to document any damages of contents, including pre-existing Responsible to properly label contents Responsible to create boxes Responsible to maintain accurate record of boxes packed per room Assist in performing job set up and end of day Responsible to perform contents cleaning when necessary Responsible to load job material Responsible to unload contents into storage location and back into home Responsible of driving company vehicle to and from job sites Responsible to update and maintain assigned device on a daily basis Other Duties and Responsibilities: Upkeep company standard customer service Report any breakage or issues to management Performs other related duties as assigned by management Qualifications: Willingness To Learn Clean driving record Other Skills/Specialties: Excellent internal and external customer service Great communication skills Ability to work in a fast pace working environment Flexibility with shifting priorities Reliable and responsible Team Player Competencies: Diversity - Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy; Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Educates others on the value of diversity; Promotes a harassment-free environment; Builds a diverse workforce. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. ☐ Level I Successfully completion of 90-day introductory period Ability to inventory correctly in iCat Ability to open rooms in iCat Successfully completing task per job description (mover or packer) Ability to pack 4-5 boxes (general contents) in 1 hours or wrap 4-6 furniture pieces in 1 hour ☐ Level II Able to perform all Level I tasks Ability to pack 5-8 boxes (general contents) in 1 hours or wrap 6-8 furniture pieces in 1 hour Ability to correctly both wrap and pack all type of contents (cross trained) Ability to pack 6 boxes of fragile content in1 hour ☐ Level III Ability to perform all Level I and II tasks Ability to use Ultrasonic machine Ability to train new technicians in field Ability to fill out paperwork when Crew Leader not on-site Ability to pack 8-9 boxes (general contents) in 1 hours or wrap 8-10 furniture pieces in 1 hour Ability to make custom boxes Ability to determine Total Loss Items (TLI) per type and loss type Ability to pack 7 boxes of fragile contents in1 hour
