About me: Mid 30's white guy. Good job. Funny and pretty ok looking. No baggage. Lots of hobbies. Love to learn new things. Workoholic. Over the last few years, I've lost touch with a lot of...or most of....or, all of my friends from school/college. I no longer have much in common with them and I'm not really sure how to meet new people. I don't really drink or party. I'm pretty introverted lately and have little-to-no social life. I've been trying to focus only on work and getting ahead but it's left me feeling empty. I'm not really sure what to do. How do I meet people without seeming like a weirdo? I've avoided social media and dating apps and feel like so much has changed in terms of meeting/dating. It's difficult to navigate. I'm wondering if there's anyone out there feeling the same? Maybe we could compare stories or share advice as to how to stay busy/happy/motivated? Everyone seems so disconnected right now. We live in such a polarized society but it would be so easy to find common ground if we just tried. I'm willing to put in the effort and listen to anyone.. no matter their history, political affiliation, religion, sexual preference, gender, race or anything else that.
