*Must have ISA Arborist Certification* We are looking for someone that has all around experience in the tree care industry. Must be able to follow-direction, work in a fast paced environment, and work well with others. DUTIES: Maintain trees for public safety by performing tree pruning and tree removal functions; remove dead and damaged limbs and trees. Perform brush chipping and stump grinding. Use climbing saddle, rope and harness to access and move safely in trees. Operate and maintain tree-trimming equipment including trucks, aerial lift truck, chain saws, pole pruner, stump grinder, and brush chipper. Perform traffic control to ensure safety of cars, pedestrians and tree crew in traffic areas. Respond to emergency calls regarding fallen trees or limbs. Assist maintenance workers with chipping of tree limbs and brush. Perform related duties as required. WE OFFER Medical, Dental, Vision insurance after 90 days of employment. A progressive and flexible work environment Training and Development QUALIFICATIONS The following generally describes the knowledge and ability required to enter the job and/or be learned within a short period to successfully perform the assigned duties. Knowledge of: Tree species Aerial and climbing rescue practices and safety procedures. Ability to: Operate a variety of hand tools and power equipment used in caring for trees. Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time in unfavorable weather conditions. Perform heavy manual labor. Trim, prune and remove all types and sizes of trees utilizing rope and saddle, aerial truck vehicle and from the ground. Understand and follow oral and written instructions. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted during work. Training Two years of tree maintenance, including tree climbing experience required. CDL is not required for experienced climbers or foremen with several years experience, but a CDL and ISA Arborist certification together will pay more. To apply call/text Michael 727-639-1941.
