FACILITY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - SYRACUSE, NY FULL-TIME IMMEDIATE OPENING * GREAT BENEFITS – 15 days PTO first year! * ONGOING TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT Join the Conifer Realty Maintenance Team Today! SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BRING: • 2-3+ years prior maintenance skills -- drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, cleaning and general maintenance repair skills; some HVAC helpful. • Prior apartment or home repair maintenance skills needed. • Minimum HS/GED required. • Able to work occasional Overtime when needed/scheduled, including on-call emergencies on a scheduled rotation basis. • Will be expected to work indoors and outdoors to maintain grounds in all kinds of weather and the buildings. The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for indoor and outdoor maintenance at our beautifully revived historic landmark buildings at Kasson Place Apartments in Syracuse, NY [83 Units]. Candidates must be skilled in drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, and boiler repair; HVAC experience preferred. Position is also responsible for grounds maintenance and entry/sidewalk snow removal/salting. Must be able to adapt to changing work priorities. Must be self-motivated and enjoy working independently as well as on a team. Strong customer service skills required to work closely with the residents, team members, contractors. Will be responsible to cover on-call emergencies on a rotational basis with team members. Reliable transportation and valid drivers' license and auto insurance required. May be assigned to other properties to assist when required. Background check and drug screen conducted.
