Description
Reese is 4 years old and a super sweet girl. She is not crazy about kids but will tolerate them if they leave her alone. She also is not crazy about other dogs, but can tolerate them as long as they leave her alone. In 2019 I had my first baby and I had to rehome Reese due to her getting aggressive with my son when he was starting to crawl around. I delt with it as long as I could but ultimately I had to do what is right. I found her THE PERFECT HOME, but just last week that family was told they had to move from their rental house to a place that did not allow pets. I understand hard things come up and what else can we do.. The family contacted me about the situation and asked If I could take her back and of course I could never say no, so she is back with me. She loves me and is still very attached to me. Even though I love her too, my situation has changed and now I have an almost 2 year old, another dog and a husband so I'm not sure that this is particular place is what is best for her. I would love to see her go to a home without small children and maybe with an older dog. She is a very lazy dog and a good companion for her will have to be lazy as well. More about Reese, she will be 5 years old on August 2nd, but you can't tell by looking at her. She is house trained/crate trained and prefers to be in her crate with the door opened 90% of the time. She is a high maintenance dog, she needs bathed at minimal 1-2x a week or she gets very stinky. She does very good with bath time and having her nails done. When she was a puppy she had some trauma to her eyes from playing with another dog and got scratched. Sometimes her eyes will appear cloudy but she can see just fine. Reese was at one point a show dog, and had 1 litter of puppies via c-section but has now been spayed. The was an agreement I made with the last family before taking her. I wanted to make sure she was safe from being turned into a puppy mill. Upon handing Reese over to a new owner, we will meet in person at my home, set up a time to meet at your home, and then our final meeting will be at your vets office. Reese will need her shots UTD and she needs her ears checked out. You MUST BE FINANCIALLY CAPABLE of caring for an English Bulldog, if you're not don't waste my time or yours, respectfully. Another thing, when I got Reese back into my custody she was wayyyy over weight. I would say she is pushing 68lbs or so. That is not healthy for her and I've already started her on a crash diet with exercise. You must be willing to address that and keep her weight under control in order for her to live a long healthy life! I will ask a rehoming fee to ENSURE she is going to the right home. I don't want to have to do this again. It's very hard on the both of us. This dog was my best friend when I had none. I owe it to HER to find her forever home before I let her go again. Please send me an email with why you think you are the perfect for Reese. Be specific about details. If I think you're a possible match I will give you a call. Leave a name and number.
