This individual will be responsible for completing work orders, ensuring our homes are in top notch shape and ensuring guests have an enjoyable holiday. Candidate must be a confident and detail-oriented individual who will is well organized and experienced in managing time and people. Ideal candidate should be a self-starter who can manage tight deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Minimum 5 yrs. experience in the vacation rental industry Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks Familiarity and understanding of basic home repair and maintenance Strong ability to grasp new software and technologies Knowledge of the local area, especially the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort Are you able to work a flexible schedule (weekends and on call) Positive and friendly attitude and willing to help others What this position will be like Completing work orders from office staff, owners, guests and field workers Working closely with office coordinators to make sure everything is being handled Working with vendors if we aren’t able to fix something ourselves Assisting guests and owners with anything that might pop up during their stay Performing inspections and preventative maintenance on homes Work within tight deadlines Communicate with other departments to keep properties in the best shape possible Could you be right for this job? Repairs or replaces electrical switches, receptacles, fuses, small light fixtures, and vacuum outlets. Adjusts thermostats to maintain desired temperature. Hangs pictures, bulletin boards, cabinets. May do light painting, pressure washing, and other miscellaneous work. Report work performed, time spent, parts used and next steps needed if necessary. Maintain and update supply inventory with maintenance supervisor. Safeguard all supplies, equipment and tools. Knowledgeable in plumbing, A.C., and electrical.
