GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education and/or Certification: • High School diploma or equivalent • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, business administration or related field preferred • Must pass a DOT physical and must have a valid Driver’s License Required Experience • Familiarity with driving a full sized pickup pulling a trailer • Familiarity with driving a flatbed truck • Ability to lift 75lbs repeatedly • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Ability to pass a DOT physical • Demonstrates initiative and flexibility • Strong problem-solving skills and effective time management • Forklift experience (nice to have) • Familiarity with siding, lumber, or other building products (nice to have) • Experience with siding and other building products (nice to have) • Experience with basic computer skills, Outlook, etc. (nice to have) • Bilingual (nice to have) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and BASIC DUTIES • Transport materials in the greater Charlotte area, occasional day or half day trips will also need to be made to our satellite markets in Greensboro, Raleigh, Charleston (SC), Myrtle Beach (SC), and Wilmington; no overnights will be expected • Prepare materials for transport • Load and unload trucks • Transport materials between warehouses • Transport a dump trailer to the landfill • Pick up or drop off materials at job sites • Miscellaneous warehouse work including but not limited to pulling orders for customers • Conducts oneself only in a professional way while associated with SouthEnd Exteriors • Works in a safe manner always and consistently provide a safe work environment ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensures adherence to all State and Federal guidelines and Industry regulations • Performs other duties as required Physical Demands/Work Environment Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Constantly sees and hears; frequently carries and holds objects weighing up to 20 lbs., files, sorts, stands, types, walks; operates a PC, calculator and writes by hand, performs data entry, sits, twists body; lifts, pulls, pushes and drags object weighing up to 30 lbs., climbs, crawls, kneels, squats, and stoops. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to work the hours and days required to complete the essential functions of the position, as scheduled.
