Heavy Equipment Operator for County Line Quarry

County Line Quarry is currently recruiting for the position Quarry Equipment Operator to join our team. • Operate various types of heavy equipment (water truck, bobcat, high lift, sweeper truck, etc.) • Maintain Quarry while adhering to all safety regulations. • Be required to keep all areas of the quarry open and clear of debris. • Assist in the production and crushing of stone • Expected to do general maintenance and laborer work • Maintain or repair tools, equipment, or structures, such as buildings or fences, using hand or power tools. • Perform pre-crushing inspection of stone prior to going through the plant. Requirements: • A minimum of 3 years’ experience operating heavy equipment • Prior work in quarry preferred. • Equipment Operator Experience Required • Either High School Diploma (or equivalency) AND prior relevant job experience • Basic Maintenance on Equipment • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. • Able to work long hours in outdoor environment. • Ability to lift components up to 50 lbs. • MSHA Knowledge preferred • Performs duties safely, responsibly and proficiently observing all safety rules. • Excellent Communication skills This is a full time position with an excellent hourly rate plus benefits (medical, dental, vision, Life, Disability and 401k).
