Client types include single family homeowners, general contractors, HOAs, property managers, and government and commercial facilities. We are seeking entry level as well as highly qualified individuals to add to our growing service and installation department. Our entry-level position is for someone with a strong desire and aptitude to learn automated gate and access control systems. Highly qualified position requires knowledge and experience in all phases of automatic entry gate maintenance, repair and installation. Positions are permanent and full-time. Entry Level: Experience in installation and/or service of landscaping, electrical or mechanical equipment or fencing is a plus. Individuals with a background in HVAC maintenance, facility maintenance, industrial equipment, automotive maintenance, appliance maintenance or fencing would have a foundation for learning this trade. The Company will train qualified applicants to industry. Highly Qualified: Qualified candidates will be familiar with most makes and models of gate operators, vehicle detection systems, and key pad and telephone entry systems and be able to show a very good knowledge of professional installation methods. This would include knowledge of excavation methods and equipment. A 10 Washington State electrical license or higher is required for this position. A 01 Washington State electrical license is preferred. The primary job responsibility of the Maintenance Technician is to perform routine maintenance and installation of mechanical and electrical components on automatic sliding and swinging gate systems, this also includes installation of the actual gates. The Maintenance Technician will be supported as an electrical trainee, with opportunities to work alongside a licensed electrician and to attend continuing education classes (at no cost to the employee) to attain and maintain an electrical license. This position can lead to obtaining an electrical license in the industry and to promotion as an installation or service technician. JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:  Mechanical aptitude with sound reasoning.  Driving of a company vehicle is required so a Washington driver's license with clean driving record is imperative.  Must be dependable, responsible, and reliable.  Able to follow instructions and work independently.  Able to work and get along with others.  Courteous and polite (will be working on job sites around customers.)  Positive attitude that contributes to a positive work environment.
