Janitorial Quality Control Inspector & Trainer Language Required: English Written and Spoken Position Description: Brooks & Brooks Services, Inc. is actively looking for a Full Time Quality Control and Training Professional with extensive experience in the janitorial services field. We are looking for a hard-working and dependable individual to assist our Yorktown branch with site inspections, client visits, detailed inspection reporting, training of staff and floor care experience. This individual will be responsible for performing site inspections with or without our customers, creating a detailed report of the walk through using our inspection software, and following up with our Operations Team on any outstanding issues. Responsibilities and Duties Oversee all aspects of Quality Control and Customer Relations in Yorktown area Performing site inspections and meet with clients Conduct inspections of janitorial services to evaluate quality or performance Creating detailed reporting using our inspection software Training current and new staff continually of cleaning techniques and various equipment Being the point person for our customers when issues arise Respond to customer inquiries Handle customer complaints, respond by finding root causes, create an action plan to eliminate recurrences, and reach a resolution Coordinate closely with Operations Team to communicate both positive and negative findings Qualification Summary: Minimum of 5 years in the janitorial industry Proficiency with standard corporate technology (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) Evening/Nighttime and Weekends will be required Ability to thrive with limited supervision Proven efficiency at managing and overseeing large accounts Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have the ability to clearly communicate effectively and tactfully with customers, subordinates, and management of all levels within the organization Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment Ability to prioritize and organize work related tasks and special projects Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities Physical Demands: Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 pounds. Ability to operate manual and mechanized equipment. Full range of motion. Ability to stand, squat, bend, twist, crawl, kneel, climb, reach above shoulders. Ability to maintain continuous walking, standing, bending or stooping for extended periods of time. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form Sight required to visually inspect work site. Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching over head, handling/fingering, reaching forward, and concentrating. Must be able to lift and and/or carry 70lbs. Work Environment Work is for the most part performed in an indoor climate of average daily seasonal temperatures. Outside work is subject to varying seasonal temperature Employee may be exposed to odors, chemicals, product spills, dust, loosened wax or water. Supervisory Responsibility This position will NOT supervise management & employees. Travel Travel to various worksites in York County will be required.
