St Vrain Plant Health Care is currently hiring a seasonal Plant Health Care/Spray Technicians for our Plant Health Care department. We are looking for someone to start in Spring 2021 and be able to work through Fall 2021. 40+ hours a week guaranteed during employment. Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply! Applicants must hold a valid Driver's License, have a clean MVR, and be insurable. Ideal candidate will be comfortable driving a standard transmission vehicle. Job duties include: mixing chemical, applying systemic pesticides, spraying pesticides, and applying organic fertilizers. Driving large commercial vehicles to multiple client properties each day. Be comfortable working solo after training period Schedule: Monday-Friday, typically 7am-3pm but there is flexibility that allows employees to shift their start/end times some. Hot summer days we usually dispatch a little earlier to beat the heat. Each morning employees report to our office in Longmont to mix product and fill the work truck. Must have a valid Driver's License, clean Motor Vehicle Record, and be insurable. No alcohol related traffic offense within the past 5 years. Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, regularly! Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 an hour based on experience and qualifications Qualifications warranting a higher starting wage: Colorado State Applicators license and/or Qualified Supervisor license CAT 206/207.
