Big Business Scoopers, a service that provides mostly residential dog poop pick up and removal, is seeking a part-time Dog Waste Scooper. The right candidate needs no prior experience. You will work independently at your own pace and make good money (up to $15-$20 an hour.) Every week you will have access to a mobile routing app detailing residential property addresses, the pay for each stop and detailed directions on what to do once there (where on property to scoop, information on the dogs, where to leave the double bagged waste, etc.) This app is optimized with route software to determine the fastest order to make the best use of your time and gas. Your route schedule will remain mostly the same every week with slight variations due to customer changes. Currently 1-2 full day's work available. Occasional opportunities to substitute for fellow Scoopers may arise. Room to grow as our business is constantly adding new customers, especially in the winter and spring seasons. MUST have the following. Flexible schedule: Sometimes extreme weather conditions, sickness or personal issues can get in your way and in the way of your fellow Scoopers. In these cases, route schedules may need to be moved a day and it is helpful if your schedule is flexible enough to accommodate this. Strong work ethic and personal fortitude: You will be working alone and we trust that you will act ethically and responsibly. Our Scoopers do their work in all kinds of weather except for extreme conditions such as thunderstorms or when snow is covering the ground. You must be willing to work through hot and cold temperatures. Great, professional communication skills: We communicate via email and text to schedule your weekly routes and check in on your progress. Timely responses are a must. You also may be required to communicate with a few homeowners who need to bring their dogs in before you arrive at their yard. A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license: You will be responsible for driving yourself to each stop on your route schedule. A love for dogs: You may meet a few dogs in the yards you scoop! But note that we have arranged with all customers that any unfriendly, aggressive, or persistently playful dogs not be in the yard when you arrive. Your own health insurance.
