Progressive Pipeline Management (PPM) has been a Mechanical/Industrial Contractor for over 15 years. PPM is involved in Trenchless Technologies and Environmental Response services; currently based out of Central/South Jersey, Long Island NY and continuing to branch out. PPM is currently looking to hire field lining technicians that can travel for various periods of time to work site locations located primarily in the Northeast Region, but does not exclude all of the United States. All overnight accommodations are covered by PPM and a daily Per Diem is paid. Applicants should be able to meet the following criteria- • Valid U.S. Driver’s License (CDL helpful) - should be capable of driving straight box trucks (ranging from 13 to 25 ft) - capable of pulling small to large equipment trailers helpful - minimal accidents and tickets for the past 3 years - Follow DOT Regulations • Agree to DOT Physical, Drug Screening, and Background Review • Able to travel for periods of more than 1 week (when demand needed) • Work outdoors on job sites • Available to work weekends and long hours (when necessary) typical Mon – Fri workweek • Good Mechanical and Electrical aptitude helpful • “Hands-On” • Capable of working in group settings • Learn, Follow, Track, and Execute directives Description: Seasonal Field Lining Technician Year Level I, II, III, IV, etc. ($15-$20/hr based on Experience. Overtime available) Competent individual must be able to follow and execute directives from Field Supervisor and Foreman. Must maintain professional positive attitude and good communication skills. Must be able to learn how to assemble and dissemble fittings. Safely load and unload equipment and materials. Learn to arrange equipment in a systematic order. Must be physically strong enough to lift heavy fittings. Able to manage and execute daily tasks in a timely effective manner. Follow protocols and communicate updates when needed. Good mechanical aptitude. Problem Solver. Be hands-on and make repairs when needed. Position offers the following comps- • 401K Plan with 4% company match (after 1 yr. full time service) • 40hr Paid Vacation (after 1 yr. full time service) Plus paid company holidays • Cash per diem when overnight stays are required • Yearly Performance Bonus • 10 to 40 plus hours OT (available during peak of busy season May to end of November) • Company Growth (hire from within) • Willing to train the right individual on all equipment operations and site procedures.
