Learn more about us at:. Status: Hourly (OT eligible) –Seasonal; Summer; may be offered regular employment Schedule: Full-time; position requiring flexibility in scheduling; overtime required. May become regular employment based on business and employee performance Location: Chesterton Street, Boston (off Mass Avenue near McDonalds) on bus line and free parking RESPONSIBILITIES: • Weigh and prepare product for packaging • Process and package food • Place product on conveyor belt, in containers or on freezer trays • Package product and palletize boxes • Clean machines and keep area clean • Must follow all Good Manufacturing Practices -- no jewelry, watches, rings, piercings, nothing in pockets/mouth, frequent hand washing, etc. • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment • Must have the ability to withstand prolonged exposure to cold temperatures as the entire plant is refrigerated • Must be physically able to stand, walk, bend and lift/move up to 50 lbs. frequently during shift REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment • Must be able to work in US indefinitely without sponsorship • Experience in food manufacturing preferred • High School Diploma required • Fluent in English strongly preferred • Good math skills • Committed to safety at all times; must follow all food and safety regulations • Excellent attendance and a team player; can-do attitude • Boston Salads requires pre-employment and random drug screening • Ability to get along with others, work well with others, help out WORK CONDITIONS: · Must be able to pass a drug test · Refrigerated environment · Repetitive motions with hands, arms, upper extremities · Handling equipment PLEASE EMAIL, RESUME TO [email protected].
