Lavelle Machine is looking for a part time team member to help with the maintenance/janitorial responsibilities.
This particular position is responsible for the upkeep and preventative maintenance of both the building and our CNC machines. Job duties include:
1. Clean and maintain shop floor using the companies’ floor cleaner.
2. Perform regular maintenance on machines and building, determined by shop management. Examples include:
a. Check coolant concentration on water soluble machines
b. Keep up with skimmers and their cleanliness.
c. Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventive maintenance actions
d. Perform minor building repairs as necessary; i.e. painting
e. Assist with any other tasks asked of you, when needed.
f. Mop around work stations.
g. Clean common work stations throughout the shop.
h. Empty trash barrels
i. Keep cafeteria clean and presentable
j. Maintain preventative maintenance sheets that accompany each CNC machine. Copy records and store per existing company standard.
3. Ensure other, miscellaneous items are always kept in good working condition. Repair/replace when needed.
4. Assist with other shop floor activities depending on activity and work load (deburring raw material, help to package completed parts, assembly, etc.)

1. Ability to apply common sense and use good discretion.
2. Attention to detail and flexible.
3. Mechanical ability required.
4. Good team player and friendly.
5. Presents themselves in a professional manner.
6. HVAC, plumbing, electrical knowledge a plus
