Galesburg, Illinois needs volunteers to drive veterans to their appointments to Iowa City VA Hospital and return. Government provides Van. No special drivers license required. Need not be a veteran. Free physical, background check and good driving record. Some training required. The VA provides free meals to the drivers at its cafeteria. Free wifi at hospital. Need not be a veteran. We need drivers for Monday thru Friday. Just drive once a month if you want. That Van leaves Lane Evans VA clinic in Galesburg, Illinois in the morning and returns after appointments in the afternoon from the Iowa City Veterans Hospital.(no community service)
