Our Sod Installation Crew Manager will provide landscaping services centered around the installation of sod. This can include grading, lawn preparation, spreading of top soil, hauling and laying sod. installing of mulch, pine straw and installing drainage may be needed on occasion. You will need to be experienced in operating a skid steer. Will be in charge of a crew and make sure jobs are done with quality and in a time efficient manner. Responsibilities and Duties • Proficiently and safely operate landscaping equipment such as sod cutter, shovels, rakes, wheel barrows and a skid steer. • Speak with clients while on the job regarding their lawn and landscaping needs. • Maintain vehicle and equipment via daily equipment and vehicle checks before/after each day. • 100% team player Qualifications and Skills • Valid Driver's License in the State of Tennessee. • Clean driving record • Valid Driver's License in the State of Tennessee. • Pull a trailer safely with equipment loaded on it • Operate a bobcat, grading experience preferred • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, bending, hunching, kneeling, standing, balancing, climbing, stooping, crawling, walking, pushing, pulling and lifting 50+ lbs. • This is a full-time position. • Pay rate starts at $19-$21/hour.
