Pro-Finish Powder Coating -- Loaders/Packers Needed 1st shift If interested please send resume to: [email protected] Responsibilities: * Hang parts onto the line or take parts off of the line. • Assembles cardboard boxes and crates or select and prepare returnable containers as required for the parts to be packaged. • Packages parts as required by part number, count, and any special instructions • Verifies and keeps records of parts packaged. • Place packaged parts onto pallets according to requirements and/or fill pallets to proper amounts by container size. • Main work area in a neat and orderly manner. • Attention to details related to customer specific requirements. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment • Flexible to work in all areas of production, as well as other assigned tasks. • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives and look for continuous improvement ideas. • Inspect materials, products, and containers at each step of the packaging process. • Any other tasks as assigned by the Shipping Leader or upper management. Minimal Requirements: • Previous manufacturing experience • Ability to learn new products, processes, and equipment operation. • Ability to maintain a positive "can-do" attitude. • Ability to remain flexible, quickly adapting to changes in the work environment. • Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate within the work center. • Willingness to do what it takes to meet schedule/customer needs. Flexible to work overtime hours including weekends when needed. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly responsible for physically loading, unloading and/or sorting of packages of different sizes and weights. This includes lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, placing packages, as well as bending, twisting, kneeling etc. in a safe and efficient manner. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
