General Labor full time. 40 hours a week + Steel/metal framing/welding/moving construction material. Based out of Jonesboro Ar. -Driver license required -reliable transportation General laborer with entry-level to advanced experience working in metal construction. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. -Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. -Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. -While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. -The employee is occasionally required to sit or stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. -The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. -Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. -Ability to read a tape measure. -Ability to work overtime and on weekends -Ability to work individually and as a team. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Support company Core Values, participates in Safe work environment and completes observations. -Assist in setting the line each day. -Proper lifting and stacking of face elements. -Inspect material and report any defects to the Group Leader or Operator. -Will work with hand-operated tools. Advanced experience: Metal stud framing Metal Welding Metal building prefabrication Preferred (not required) skills: -Experience in metal construction (1+years) -Willingness to travel (per diem included) willing to travel 100 miles or more. will get per diem and hotel.
