Part-Time Heavy Truck Mechanic

We are looking for a flexible, part-time heavy truck mechanic for our small fleet of trucks. Duties will include but are not limited to; greasing, fluid checks/changes, tire checks/changes, brake jobs, some electrical diagnosis/repair and part changing such as alternators, turbos, shocks, airbags etc. Any substantial work (motor, trans, rears) will be outsourced. This is NOT an ad for a “self-employed” part-time mechanic, who likely carries no insurance. We are not looking for a sub contractor. The right candidate will have his/her own tools. Some particular tools may be provided. This would be a good opportunity for somebody that is confident, physically capable and looking to make some extra money on the side. We like to keep our trucks well-maintained. The right candidate will be able to work an occasional evening or two during the week for 2-4 hours, and every weekend from 4-8 hours, Saturday or Sunday, whichever is preferred.
