Founding members of Eight Feet Tall - Formerly 8 piece Reggae / Hip Hop / Funk touring band. 8FT was a high maintenance project in which we played major clubs through-out the North East. Primarily gigs that took place between 9pm & 1am. In this transformation we are seeking to aim our talents towards more early evening, outdoor performances with less backend maintenance. Having spent the greater part of a decade performing late into the evening and getting home at 3am, we would like to get away from that and focus more on entertaining feel good built in crowds at popular and enjoyable establishments. In this project we will be performing acoustically driven original Roots, Pop, Reggae with a hint of hip hop. The goal is to create a fun environment for ourselves and our listeners that is not over bearing or disruptive to a positive environment. While we will still selectively accept late night gigs in higher exposure venues, they will be far and few in between. The goal is to create simple music that we can enjoy performing relatively stress free which will connect to audiences of all kinds. We are looking for reliable musicians who we can enjoy being around who share a similar mind set to what we are after. Having a strong business back round and lasting connections, the gigs we accept will be ones that we will be properly compensated for.
