Hello, my name is Cheyenne Melton. I am looking for people to hire for residential house painting starting in the next few weeks. The job is full-time 40 hours/week, Monday-Thursday. Pay is $13-$17/hr based on performance and experience. I am looking for motivated and hard-working individuals to be a part of a productive team. The job will be a full-time summer position with a chance to promote from within for a management position starting in the spring of 2022. Expect to be a fast-paced, fun, outdoor working environment. Jobs are in the Evanston and Wilmette area. Reliable transportation to the job site is mandatory. Any painting experience is preferred, but not necessary. Onsite job training provided. Responsibilities: - Make on-site preparations such as setting up ladders, covering fixtures, etc. - Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, removing old paint, etc. - Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster, caulk, wood putty) - Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools - Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions Musts: - Be 18 yrs or older - Have reliable transportation - Be able to work full time or part-time (20-40hrs/week) - Have good communication skills - Be reliable and show up - Be willing to work hard
