MAINE – Lighthouses & Autumn Leaves
Portland / Acadia National Park – October 10-15, 2021
Autumn is the best time of year to visit Maine for an adventure visiting Iconic Lighthouses and the spectacular Fall foliage in Acadia National Park. This adventure is geared for all photography skill levels, travel oriented, and for those who prefer learning new techniques (hands on) in the field. The classroom will be the great outdoors for the duration of this trip. We will begin in Portland visiting the renowned Portland Head Lighthouse and others in the surrounding area, from there working our way north stopping at Pemaquid and Marshall Point Lighthouses, then on to Acadia National Park. Our final stop will then bring us back to where it all started in Portland. Our pace will be quite leisurely as we travel from point A to point B allowing sufficient time to maximize photographic opportunities, trying new techniques, getting familiar with new equipment, filters and accessories, developing your skillset, along with a professional photographer to lend a helping hand. A basic itinerary has been set to keep us on course but ample time has been built in to allow for deviation down that back road or stop to enjoy a lobster roll to find out who has the best. The local cuisine will be our only distraction. Our main focus will be on you and your ability to get “the shot” visualized in your head, captured with the best quality possible from your equipment. There is no equipment checklist so bring what you can carry and let’s shoot!
Total Investment for this trip is $1,895 which includes lodging (5 nights).
