Tony's Coffee is a quality-focused family-run company that has been roasting coffee in Bellingham since 1971 and was recently named the 2021 Macro Roaster of the Year by Roast Magazine. Our award winning coffees are sold throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. We are currently looking to expand our team and are hiring for a full time packaging position in our production warehouse. This is a fast paced, physical job that requires significant attention to detail and self-motivation. We take our COVID safety precautions very seriously and are looking for like-minded candidates. Friday - Sunday & every other Thursday: 7am – 5:30pm Responsibilities include: - Prepping stations for packaging - Operating various weigh and fill machines - Sealing/boxing bags of coffee - Weighing out and grinding precise amounts of coffee based on orders - Prioritizing various orders throughout the week - Labeling bags - Palletizing and wrapping orders for shipment - Stocking supplies - General upkeep of the Production warehouse Qualifications: - Must be able to work for several hours unattended - Self-motivated, quick problem solver, & likes to work in a fast-paced environment - Works well in a strong team environment - Able to maintain attention to detail without disrupting work flow - Previous warehouse experience strongly preferred - Ability to drive forklift preferred - Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis - Must be able to stand for several hours - Must be able to work at a pace consistent with warehouse needs - Excellent communication skills – written and spoken - Must have reliable transportation - Be able to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a positive outlook Starting wage: $14/hour –Full time position with benefits. Benefits include vacation and sick pay. Profit sharing after six months. Health benefits available after 90 days.
