THE SWIM-IN: SHELLEY DUVALL EDITION Join us for poolside screenings of two of Shelley Duvall’s greatest films presented by our current artist-in-residence, Xavier Hamel. Monday, April 19th: The Shining at 7:30pmMonday, April 26th: 3 Women at 7:30pmVeracruz All Natural and cocktails are available at the pool bar. The LINE's current Artist-in-Residence is filmmaker Xavier Hamel. During his time at the LINE he has been working on a documentary about actress and local Texan Shelley Duvall. Xavier has been conducting interviews with Shelley at her home and editing his film as he has been residing it the hotel’s Artist Studio. For Xavier’s closing reception of his Artist-in-Residence he will be presenting a week long exhibit in the LINE hotel lobby with his research from the film on display including photography and archival footage. This exhibit will run publicly in the hotel’s lobby from Monday, April 19th through Monday, April 26th. Additionally on those two Monday’s he will be hosting a poolside screening of two iconic Shelley Duvall films, on Monday, April 19th: The Shining, and on Monday, April 26th: 3 Women. The films will start at 7:30PM, the pool bar and Veracruz Tacos will be available at the pool until 10pm.
