Job Description Our company is seeking dedicated and hardworking delivery drivers and helpers. We specialize in assembling furniture and installing appliances. We deliver for Fr8rite, Wayfair, Mattress Firm, Amazon and several other companies. All drivers must have a Class D (Chauffeur) license. All Fr8rite drivers must have knowledge with installing all types of appliances (Refrigerators, Washer, Driver, Stoves – gas and electric) is preferred. Job Summary: The qualified candidate for this position will make deliveries to residential customers with a focus on timeliness and customer service. The Delivery team will off-load merchandise at each stop, carry into residential locations, and place in the area designated by the customer. Amazon drivers must load, deliver, and off-load pallets of merchindise to various post offices state-wide (Louisiana). Job Duties and Requirements: Must be able to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test Valid Driver’s License (Class D for drivers) Outstanding customer service and communication skills Must be able to work independently and manage time appropriately to meet deadlines State Specific License required for operating a vehicle up to 26,000 lbs. Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs or more. FR8RITE (Port Allen, LA): Routes start between 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM and end when all deliveries have been completed. Drivers Pay: 22-25% Of the completed route Helpers pay: $100 a day ($90 in training) Wayfair (Hammond, LA): Routes start at 4:30 AM and end when the route is complete. Drivers Pay: $120-130 a day. Helpers pay: $90-$100 a day Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract Mattress Firm (Port Allen, LA): Routes start at 8:00 AM and end when the route is complete. Drivers Pay: $120-$140 a day.
