Welder/Erector (Modesto) NorCal Steel Structures 1230 7th street Modesto,CA compensation: D.O.E employment type: full-time Nor-Cal Steel Structures, Inc. is looking for Structural Steel Erectors and Field welders for our Northern and Central California projects. ( Some So-Cal work) We are looking for highly-motivated, talented, and experienced individuals that are willing to work in the field. Welder/ Erector / Ironworker / Helper -Must have a minimum of 1 years experience erecting structural and miscellaneous steel. If you had work for NCSS in the past and would like to rehire contact the office. Project types for example: -Ground up retail stores -Concrete tilt-up shells along with panel welding -Multi-Story structural steel framed buildings. -Handrail installation -Trash enclosures -Joist and Girders -Metal decking -Pre-Engineered Metal buildings Requirements: -Must have reliable transportation. -Must have valid CA drivers license and clean DMV record. -Must be willing to travel and stay overnight. -Must work in professional manner and be able to work around other tradesmen. -Structural welding certifications(updated) D1.1 & D1.8 required; must be able to weld in all positions NR232 -Must be able to operate off-road forklifts, aerial booms, scissor-lifts. -Must be able to read plans. -Must be able to communicate with project managers and office personnel. -Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
