Description The Facilities Support Technician will assist with equipment maintenance and general upkeep of a parking facility. Must possess an ability to easily move into a role that requires learning of functions of a variety of equipment types, such as pay kiosks and gates. Ability to use a personal computer is a requirement. This position will interface with customers, handle disputes, and effectively communicate between teams, co-workers, customers and clients. Primary Job Duties Ensure parking facilities are maintained and inspected on a daily basis. Ensure cleanliness and safety protocols are adhered to on a daily basis. Interface with customers either in person or via intercom system to troubleshoot common problems and questions. Greet customers, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a willingness to help at all times. Perform general maintenance duties related to the safety and maintenance of the parking facility. Works with team to establish standards, make recommendations, and implement changes when necessary. Work on various projects as assigned. Assist with basic programming and understanding of software used to manage parking facilities. Experience 2+ years in a maintenance or technical role Parking industry experience is preferred but not required Skills Ability to keep track and report on activity Ability communicate professionally and effectively Positive attitude and interpersonal skills Adapt to changes, delays or unexpected events Demonstrate clear and sound judgement Must be able to meet physical demands of the job, including but not limited to walking / standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs.
