Celebrate EARTH DAY (4-17), Arbor Day & Scouting (5-01) and Ecology Day (5-15)! EARTH DAY MONTH & JAYCEES ALUMNI IN THE PAWTUXET RIVER VALLEY M In kicking-off their traditional Open Space Programming with a month full of EARTH DAY activities the Central Rhode Island Junior Chamber ALUMNI of Commerce ('JAYCEES') - is announcing their EARTH DAY MONTH schedule - the JAYCEES will be holding a series of events starting on Saturday April 17th where their Central Junior Chamber in concert with multi-groups EARTH DAY Committee (currently there is no official statewide organization) are sponsoring community wide clean ups and beautification projects. All volunteers and participants are asked to contact the JAYCEES for approximate details or answering any public inquiries. Then on Saturday May 1st the JAYCEES & Scouts will celebrate ARBOR Day from 11:Am - 2:Pm as an official EAGLE SCOUT Project! @ the Riverwalk. The JAYCEES also encourage the public to join them on Saturday May 15th from 10:Am - 2:Pm for their 24th annual ECOLOGY DAYS Festival. VOLUNTEERS & VETERANS ARE NEEDED - All events will take place at the award-winning JAYCEE Corridor & Arboretum along the West Bay Bikepath (Rhode Island Greenway).
