Lead Metal Fabricator Horn Metal Craft – Phoenix, AZ $18-$25/hour Job Description: We are a custom metal fabrication shop located in downtown, Phoenix, AZ. We work on a wide range of projects including custom steel staircases, railings, oven hoods, doors and other various construction projects including installation of such projects. Applicant must have 5+ years metal fabrication experience (lead fabricator/foreman experience a plus), a good leader, and be motivated and dedicated to quality craftsmanship. We are looking for someone who can assist other employees by providing direction to complete projects. The ability to create a motivating and positive work environment is a must. Responsibilities: • Work 40+ hours per week • Fabricate custom metal products per drawings provided while making the most efficient use of time, materials and equipment to maintain labor/material costs per job • Be able to operate various machinery needed for metal fabrication • Keep shop/work area clean and organized • Must Work individually with little supervision but also work as a team by communicating effectively with management and employees Skills Required: • Mig Welding experience required, Tig Welding knowledge is a plus • Be able to read and comprehend shop drawings • Knowledge of handyman duties to lead installations of completed work on site Physical Demands: • Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds on a daily basis Compensation: • Full-time, including benefits, Salary DOE $18-25.00 per hour
