We adopted this dog thinking he would be the perfect dog for our family and kids given our active lifestyle. He’s a perfect size - 30ish pounds and is somewhere between a mini Aussie and a full sized one. He’s fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchip. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize that his lack of socialization for most of his life was going to clash with our very busy household (babysitters, grandparents, friends etc). At the house with us around he’s perfect - housetrained, knows commands, very treat focused, crate trained, loves to play but knows how to relax. However, visitors and walking he has become extremely reactive and protective. This has included a few nips and a bite out of fear. He really is an incredible dog and we want to find him an amazing home with the space and pace he needs to be the best dog ever.
