Not sure why my post keeps getting flagged, but we have a WONDERFUL girl that needs a new home. She is a 4 year old, poodle mix. (She's about 10-12lbs) Raised with a family with kids and is a GOOD GIRL!! She's got a long coat that feels like a terrier, but doesnt shed and doesnt get matted. No high maintenance grooming. FULLY HOUSE BROKEN. She's on her best behavior at home. Medium energy level. Loves playing fetch(loves running after what you throw), cuddling her humans, and going for car rides. Up to date on shots, heart worm meds and healthy. When you're home, this dog loves being next to you. She will do best in a home with no other dogs --OR--- in a home with a larger/calm dog. She can’t be fully trusted off leash (easily distracted and will bolt to the closest squirrel!) Gentle with/around kids, politely takes food from your hands when offered. Barks often, so we keep a (vibrating) bark collar on her and it reduces it by 80% I’d say. She loves “getting out” but doesn’t require daily walks. She is happy being a Netflix/cuddle couch bum most of the time. She can be trusted at home alone. She has NEVER chewed or destroyed anything she wasnt supposed to. She is crate trained and is just fine being in her cage. Its her "bedroom" thats she's comfortable with! Rehoming her because she wont stop humping and dragging around my dads dog! Dad's dog is male, about her size, who just allows her to bully him. She DOESNT do this with all dogs(we have LOTS of dogs of all sizes who visit and she is fine with most) I am sure its a dominance thing, but my dad will be living with us soon and refuses to have his sweet/submissive male furball become victim to her endless humping. So if she's going to live with other dogs, it will probably need to be one who is larger/generally chill. I know there are lots of scams on CL; Small rehoming fee only AFTER you meet her/decide she could be a good fit for you!
