We are looking for a professional and experienced dog walker! If you have experience working with dogs as a walker, trainer, vet tech, kennel assistant or related field and would like to learn more about dog behavior, come join a creative team with over 20 years in the business. Benefits: You will be paid competitively and we provide a company van to transport and walk dogs at our private ranch. Employees in good standing are invited to participate in additional professional dog training. Working with a group of people who enjoy each other's company and love what they do! Compensation: We pay a San Francisco living wage! Starting at $18 an hour. Employees are eligible for paid time off and health insurance after 90 days. This is a part-time Monday-Friday position. Requirements: Preference will be given to certified dog walkers and to candidates having completed one of the dog behavior/training academies. The appropriate match will have an intense interest in always learning more about dog behavior, training and reward based training. • Must love dogs and have experience working with them in some professional capacity. • Must be legal to work in the US, have a clean driving/criminal records, and should be at least 21 years of age. • Must own a smartphone (iPhone preferred) with access to email and text messaging. • Must live in San Francisco and have working knowledge of our service neighborhoods (Mission Bay, Dogpatch, and Potrero) • Must be athletic and strong enough to carry 50lbs in case of emergency. • Must have a sense of humor and ability to be positive and enjoy working as part of a team. • Must enjoy interacting with people.
