Job Description We’re an e-commerce company for potted houseplants looking for a highly self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills to join our growing team. The Plant Packer is an integral part of our operation as they are responsible for preparing plants (our primary product!) for shipping. Schedule: Mondays from 8 am - 5 pm Responsibilities: - Your primary responsibility will be to meticulously clean, prune, and pack houseplants that are being sent out on a given fulfillment day. We have ambitious daily quotas that require speed and a strong sense of personal initiative. A keen design eye and great attention to detail are a must. - On certain days you may be responsible for receiving products, including a variety of plants and hard goods from our vendors and loading and unloading delivery trucks. - At times you will be responsible for assisting in packaging, boxing and shipping out our daily orders. Each team member is responsible for ensuring order accuracy and high-quality standards for each and every order. - You'll assist in inventory and other areas of daily production as needed. A strong attention to detail is a must. Requirements: - Strong attention to detail and organization. - Excellent punctuality, attendance, and reliability. - Must be able to communicate well with co-workers and vendors, including in a small group setting. - Ability to navigate and operate in a fast-paced, physically active environment. - Ability to lift, bend, and stand for 6-8 hours a day - Ability to lift 25+ pounds Salary: $20.00/hour Job Type: Part-time COVID-19 considerations: To keep our team safe, everyone in the facility is required to wear a face mask.
