Republicans chirp about the importance of energy independence. Independence from foreign oil. Now we have auto manufacturers with a solution and you ask “what’s the hurry”???
You may or may not believe in climate change but the majority o the world does. Cleaner air is a bonus to the energy independence. Re you goi got complain about cleaner air too??
Freightliner, Mack, Peterbuilt, Volvo and other large truck manufacturers now have electric truck as well. Why? Because they see economic advantages to moving away from oil.
This is the beginning of the end for fossil fuel powered vehicles. Change is good. Electric powered vehicles over oil powered vehicles is like High Def television compared to black and white tv.
Even Sthil and Husqvarna are making professional electric chainsaws. This is all good news for climate change.
